Basel Badawi
D.M.D - Boston, MA Dentist
Boston Dentist Dr. Badawi is a 1994 graduate of Boston University School of Dental Medicine. He is committed to providing his patients with only the best care possible and offers a variety of restorative and preventative dental services. He enjoys all aspects of general dentistry but his passion is Cosmetic Dentistry. Creating smiles that gives his patients much deserved self-confidence and joy is why Dr. Badawi loves his profession.
He is the leader of the CitiDental Boston team and greatly admired and respected by his entire team. He is the reason that the CitiDental Boston team is truly unique! Dr. Badawi was the Chair of the New Dentists Committee from 2002-2004 for the Massachusetts Dental Society and was named the Volunteer Hero of the Massachusetts Dental Society, 2004. He is an active member many organizations including American Dental Association, Massachusetts Dental Society, The American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry.
Dr. Badawi has received the Sustaining Member of the AACD membership because he has mastered modern cosmetic techniques by passing a written exam and meeting education requirements set by the board.
Chau Hoang
D.M.D, M.P.H - Boston MA Dentist
Dr. Chau Hoang is a 1998 graduate of the Harvard School of Dental Medicine and also a graduate of the Harvard School of Public Health. She also obtained a general dental residency degree at the Brigham and Women’s Hospital located in Boston, Massachusetts. Although a transplant from California, she has resided in Boston for 16 years and has been practicing dentistry in private practice for over 12 years. She has been creating smiles for people of all ages and enjoys and all aspects of dentistry, including smile makeovers, restorative cosmetic tooth colored fillings, and removable partials and dentures. She is an Invisalign certified provider. She is a strong believer in continuing education in advancing her knowledge in the ever changing field of dentistry. Her most recent study has been in the diagnosis and treatment of TMJ at the Dawson Academy. Her compassion and gentle touch will put you at ease for any dental procedure you may need.
In her free time, she enjoys spending time with family and friends. She also enjoys Boston sports, especially going to a Patriots game.
Dr. Rodriguez
DDS - Boston, MA Dentist
Dr. Rodriguez is a graduate of Meharry Medical College School of Dentistry in Nashville, Tennessee where he received his Doctor in Dental Surgery degree. During his studies, his achievements in restorative dentistry were recognized and awarded by the Quintessence Publishing Company. He moved back to Boston so he can practice dentistry in the city that he loves.
Dr. Rodriguez was born and raised in Dominican Republic. In his home country, he graduated from The Dominican Odontologic University as Doctor in General Dentistry. He also holds a master’s degree in Periodontology and dental implants from Universidad Iberoamericana – UNIBE. Following graduation, he practiced as a periodontist specialist in multiple practices throughout Santo Domingo, developing many skills related to implant treatment and esthetic periodontal surgery. In addition, he volunteered and helped organize many activities where free dental care education and treatment were provided to the people who are most in need. His commitment to help goes beyond clinical setting, volunteering for the medical team of the firefighter corps of Santo Domingo where he trained in many emergency scenarios.
Dr. Rodriguez has many hobbies including Fishing, sculpting, cooking, tennis, board games, playing guitar, hiking, and painting.
Dr. Santana
DDS - Boston, MA Dentist
Dr. Santana is a graduate of Boston University Henry M. Goldman School of Dental Medicine where she received her Doctor in Medical Dentistry degree. Her goal is to provide help, knowledge, and service to maintain and provide a quality life for patients.
Dr. Santana was born Boston, MA and raised in Dominican Republic. She is a graduate of Universidad Iberoamericana – UNIBE where she received her degree in General Dentistry and also her Master’s degree in Oral Surgery and Dental Implants. During her Master’s studies, she was selected as finalist for the “Carl E. Misch Award for Excellence” thanks to her contribution in research and participation in the Greater New York Dental Meeting November 2016.
Following graduation, Dr. Santana practiced as an oral surgeon specialist in multiple practices offering a large variety of procedures, including but not limited to dental implants, 3rd molar extractions, dental trauma, as well as treatments for cysts and tumors. Additionally, she worked as Assistant Director and Faculty Lecturer in the O&M University School of Medicine – O&Med.
Colleen Shea
D.M.D, D.M.Sc. - Boston Specialist in Periodontics
Dr. Shea is a 1997 graduate of Harvard School of Dental Medicine where she received a Doctorate of Dental Medicine, a Certificate for Graduate Training in Periodontology, and in 2001 she received a Doctorate of Medical Sciences in Oral Biology. During her post-doctoral studies, she received the prestigious Dentist Scientist Award from the National Institutes of Health and conducted research on bone metabolism at Boston’s Children’s Hospital and Boston University School of Medicine’s Department of Orthopaedics. Dr. Shea is Board Certified as a Diplomate of the American Board of Periodontology. Her memberships include the American Dental Association, the Massachusetts Dental Society, and the American Academy of Periodontology.
Dr. Shea specializes in all aspects of periodontal treatment, including scaling and root planing, gingival grafts, periodontal surgery, and dental implants. She is passionate about educating her patients on the importance of periodontal health.
Marci Mazzuca
FMCD(S), MSc, DMD, CAGS, Boston Specialist in Endodontics
Dr. Marci Mazzuca was born and raised in Toronto, Ontario Canada. During her time in Canada she attended the University of Western Ontario, known for its strong science and research facilities. It is there she received a Bachelor’s of Science degree in the Honors Biology program. After being offered a position at the Goldman School of Dental Medicine, Dr. Mazzuca transitioned to Boston to complete her doctorate in dentistry in 2008 where she graduated magnum cum laude and received an award for outstanding oral diagnosis.
Following graduation, Dr. Mazzuca furthered her dental education at the Goldman School of Dental Medicine and completed a one year post-doctoral program receiving a certificate in Advanced Education in General Dentistry. She then continued on to complete a three year Masters of Science and specialty in the field of Endodontics . Upon her graduation in 2012, Dr. Mazzuca received her Fellowship distinction in addition to Board Certification in the field of Endodontics in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. Throughout her career, Dr. Mazzuca has practiced alongside several colleagues in both endodontic specialty practices as well as multi specialty dental practices with strong emphasis on comprehensive patient care. She currently practices in Massachusetts, Rhode Island and Toronto and is a member of the American Association of Endodontics, the Canadian Association of Endodontics, Massachusetts Dental Society and the Royal College of Dentist of Canada. Dr. Mazzuca was recently voted among her colleagues as one of the top Endodontists in the state of Rhode Island.
Dr. Mazzuca takes great pride in creating a relaxing, comfortable and pain free experience for all of those under her endodontic care. In her spare time, Dr. Mazzuca has volunteered as a teaching faculty in the post doctoral Endodontics program at Tufts University School of Dental Medicine. Outside of the dental office Dr. Mazzuca stays active through a variety of outdoor activities and sports and experimenting in the kitchen with new cuisines.
